KARACHI: Three of the 4 arrested policemen within the homicide case of Naqeebullah Mehsud had been recognized by eyewitnesses on Wednesday.
27-year-old Naqeebullah was killed together with three others in what was later termed a faux police encounter on January 13 in Shah Latif City, Karachi.
The policemen had been offered for an identification parade within the courtroom of judicial Justice of the Peace Malir. The recognized embrace ASI Allahayar and policemen Mohammad Iqbal and Arshad Ali.
Eyewitnesses knowledgeable the courtroom that Allahyar was in plain garments on the time of the faux encounter of Naqeebullah and was holding a Kalashnikov.
The eyewitnesses together with Naqeebullah had been allegedly picked up by the staff of the then SSP Malir Rao Anwar from a lodge on January three and stored in unlawful detention. Following the incident, an FIR was registered towards Anwar and others. Rao Anwar who was suspended by the Sindh authorities stays at massive and is needed in connection to the extrajudicial homicide of Naqeebullah.
